This month for Civic Center Family Series, we got to go see Stuart Little. We had lunch with Jeremy and Aiden downtown and then went to see the show. It was really good and the pre-shows activities were fun too. Lanie always enjoys the music best and here she is shaking the tamborine for the singers:)
April is my baby girl's birthday month. I can't believe she turned 8! We celebrated at Grandma and Papa's house on her real birthday and then a week later at her pool birthday party. She invited all the girls from her class and one of her other close friends. She wanted "monkeys" at her party and I was excited to get started with homemade decorations and special touches:) Matthew and I got her a teacher play-set and some Daniel Tiger Little People. Lanie was very excited to see her family and friends at the party. We were so thankful for all the people that helped Lanie feel special on her birthday.

April, of course, happens to be my birthday month too. In fact, its a whole bunch of my friends' birthday month too! This year we carpooled to some small town pubs and end up at Benny's in Radcliffe for karaoke. It was a lot of fun and a great way to celebrate another super year!
Carter was invited to an Iowa Energy game with his friend Griffin. I hear they were quite silly and enjoyed the game a lot:)

Girl Scouts Family Potluck and Recognition Night. Lanie's Brownie troop earned so many great badges this year and had fun getting to know each other better and make new friends. Our troop leader is wonderful!
I got to be Lanie's chaperone at the Laura Ingalls Wilder musical we went to for school at CY Stephens:)
