School - Stamp Organizer
This was a pinterest idea and looked fun to do. I'm hoping the organization will encourage me to use the stamps more both myself and the students.
Craft for House - Ireland Shadow Box
It was so fun to get out all those Ireland memorabilias from Matthew's shoebox that he keeps them in. It was like reliving the trip all over again:) In making this shadow box I realized I didn't have to use the whole ticket or receipt but could cut out only the part I wanted. Love how the 2 shadow boxes look together hanging on the wall.
Hopeless Romantic - Valentine's Day Frames
I believe this came from the Dating Divas blog and I just loved the idea of expressing to each other the things we love about them. Matthew and I shared a frame and then the kids each got one of their own. I took the odd numbers and Matthew took the even on writing to the kids. It was really important to me to think deeply about the things that I absolutely LOVE about my family and made me appreciate them even more. Now that February is over, we've moved the frames to our bedrooms to enjoy them even longer.
Craft with Kids - Valentine's Day Treat
This one didn't turn out like I wanted it to:( We still spent time together being crafty and getting the valentines ready for school.
Home Improvement/ Organization - Bathroom Decor
Home improvement...ergh! I feel like I go 2 steps forward and 1 back. This month I bought matching toothbrush holder, soap holder, soap dispenser, trash can, toilet paper holder, towel holder, toilet bowl brush holder, towel hooks, curtain and rod, and new rugs (thank you everyone for the Amazon gift cards for Christmas). The last thing I bought were drawer pulls for the vanity. And of course, when we were putting the second one in, it cracked the drawer front. So...a new item for the home to do list, hoping we can buy a separate drawer front. Anyway, the bathroom matches now and eventually I'll get to adding decorations.
March goals are already made and I'm ready to get to work:)
