Had a great time running my 3rd (or 4th) Market to Market Mother's Day weekend. Some same team members and some new! Our theme was Prince. . . some of us got a little more into it than others:) Might have been the best weather yet!
Lanie enjoying 2 purple popsicles after her new left ear tube was put in. She came out of surgery happy and ready to eat and drink. Such a big girl:(
Lanie, Camlyn and I were playing at the playground when Carter hit a grand slam in Gilbert. It was his first homerun AND grand slam. We went out to Dairy Queen to celebrate the awesome work!
Miracle League in Ankeny
To end the year of Junior Girl Scouts, we learned how to build a fire and cook on it at one of the volunteer leader's houses. We also roasted smores and went geocaching.
Carter received a GPA Award at the Middle School Awards Ceremony.
The kids and I went to Jesse and Jay Johnson's house for Memorial Day. Jay created a huge slip and slide down the side of the hill and the kids LOVED it!
Carter had such a great season as a White Sox. His head coach was Griffin's dad, Scott and then Matthew and 2 other dads volunteer coached. Although he began the season having to sit out a couple weeks because of a broken ankle, he made up for it by having many great at-bats, catching outs as first baseman, and even pitched more innings than ever before.
