What a wonderful March we've had together.
Mindy, Heidi and I ran our 3rd Leprechaun Chase run together. The weather was the warmest yet and we finished the run and made it to the bar before the torrential downpour happened:) It was such a relaxing Saturday; consignment shopping, eating out, and ending the night country dancing. One of my favorite weekends of the year. Love these ladies!
I took the kids swimming at Americ-Inn in Ames during Spring Break. What a great way to spend the afternoon together:)
Easter was wonderful as always. Grandpa stuffed the eggs with candy and the kids went Easter egg hunting. Then the adults went hunting for eggs with lottery tickets in them. Not much money won, but still fun. Easter supper was amazing, as always, and it was good to be together as a family.
Lanie's girl scout troop giving their turn-off the lights project to our secretary to be passed out to the teachers. They were so proud!
My good friend, Michaela, turned the big 4-0 and her husband and I planned a surprise party at a small, local bar where one of her favorite bands, the Burnin' Sensations, were playing. I think she had a great time dancing the night away with friends.
Nevada Cubs Girls' Basketball team made it to state finals again this year! They took second place. We were SO proud of our Cubbies and had a blast watching them at Wells Fargo.
Carter played the tuba in the 6th grade band for the 5-12 Music Festival. It's so fun to watch the progress the bands make each year.
Carter finished up his 6th grade basketball season with a great team of boys. They went undefeated and had a great time together!
Lanie performed in her Music Concert in March. She had a small speaking part at the beginning and then sang and danced throughout the rest of the concert. We were so proud of our little performer up there!
