The cats are beginning to spend more and more time in their cat tree in the living room. This month Frisbee even explored the hammock. He looks so cute all rolled up in there.
We went to Hadestown with Mike and Shanna at the Civic Center this month. It was an awesome show and would highly recommend it to everyone! The music was awesome and we even found and listened to the soundtrack for weeks afterward. I laughed and cried during the show.
We planned a long weekend the last weekend of spring break to go to Galena with Mike, Shanna, Jesse and Betsy. We stayed at an Airbnb outside of Galena. The weather was crap unfortunately but we made the best of it. We stayed in and played games on St. Patrick's Day. Then on Friday we went out to eat and visited a brewery in town and Saturday it was finally warmer and sunny and we were in town most of the day. We shopped, ate at a yummy Italian place, drank at the VFW, and sipped wine at a winery.
The weekend finally came! Lanie got to perform in the Beauty and the Beast on Friday and Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Laurie and mom went with me Friday night, Matthew and Carter went Saturday night, and then Matthew and I went together on Sunday afternoon. The cast was amazing, kind and caring to Lanie, especially Taylyn and Olivia. Lanie can't wait for the next musical in 2023!
