We are so blessed to have good relationships with Lanie's teachers and associate! Her associate Mrs. Tanner sent me this picture of a group of kids in Lanie's special ed class performing a readers theater.
Happy Valentine's Day to us! We celebrated by going to a wine tasting and cabaret show at Della Viti's with Mike and Shanna. Something unlike I've ever seen before:)
Nothing like a little friendly competition between a father and son. For Valentine's Day we bought the kids an Osmo for the ipad. Hope they play it often and have fun.
Another benefit to teaching in the same school as my children go. . . I got to see Lanie volunteer at our Bones and Muscles speaker day for a physical trainer. See her big muscles!
Friend time! Mindy and I got to have some time together in February for a Saturday night of crafting and wine. We made the wreaths hanging behind us and caught up on eachother's lives:)
Scout Day at ISU Gymnastics meet. One of Lanie's very good friends who is also a scout, came with us. And of course, we had to get cone clones!
We have another teenager! We celebrated Kaelan's 13th birthday with family at Mi Casitas Unbelieveable where the time goes:( I can remember loving being an aunt for the first time when he was born:)
Homemade noodles class, friend time, and morning sangria? I'm in! I can honestly say I'll never make them at home on my own, but as an experience with friends, it was great!
Lanie got to have Claudia spend the night this month. Claudia is now a professional face painter (she's really very good!) and Lanie sat especially still for her so she could paint her face. They played and played and played:)
Doing a building efficiency study for girl scouts using one of the girls' dad's heat gun.
Carter's 2015 - 2016 5th and 6th grade basketball team. Nice boys and really worked together. I believe they even went undefeated. Didn't matter though, they grew so much and were so fun to watch.
