Lanie is in 1st grade and is 6 years old. She's reading from a phonics paper book that was sent home from her teacher.

Carter is in 3rd grade and is 8 years old. He's reading from a ABC Book by Jerry Pollato about animals skulls.

7-13-18 I'm thankful for Camp Sunnyside and the amazing, caring, fun counselors that are there.
11-20-13 I'm thankful that our shower base arrived! It's been a long time since we've had a shower at our house:)
11-6-13 I'm thankful for teaching in a school that lets teachers do a student-led conference. They are so much more meaningful to the student and everyone involved. Its wonderful public speaking practice too:)
11-1-13 I'm thankful that my mom and dad live so close and I can spend a night at their house with the kids enjoying a delicious meal together.
6-18-13 I am so thankful that I got to lanie shine for just a moment when she third the ball off the cosch's pitch tonight. I screamed for joy and Matthew had the biggest grin... The sky's the limit with that child:)
