Picked the last of the harvest from my small garden this afternoon. Was very happy with all the peppers that grew! Going to cut and freeze and them and hopefully try Jamie's banana pepper jelly recipe when I have time. The whole family was surprised by how wonderful the watermelon tasted even though it was so much smaller than the grocery store's:) Not sure if I need to plant sooner in the spring in order to give the melons' more time to grow or what? Also going to try a stuffed poblano pepper recipe this week to eat those fresh ones up and use the carrots I picked earlier this week in a roast:)
