Easter

We were lucky enough to get to spend some time Easter weekend with a close friend and her daughter, that live in Kansas City (Nicole).  We went to Reiman Gardens in Ames for their Easter Egg hunts and activities.  The kids got their face painted, got to see live bunnies up close, painted, colored, and got to walk around the garden.  We even ran into some friends from Des Moines (Jeremy, Mindy, and Aiden)!  On Sunday, Mom cooked a wonderful meal and the kids had fun finding eggs around the yard. Inside the adult eggs were lottery tickets.  Although I didn't win anything, it was fun scratching:)  Shannon DID win though, something like $10.

Under the beautiful blooming tree in Grandma's front yard
