I can't believe its been this long since I've posted something on our family blog! I've got to do better! This past Saturday was Carter's 1st pinewood derby race for Cub Scouts. Carter, Papa, and Uncle Steve worked hard on his first car. It turned out really sharp looking and Carter was one excited boy to try it out on the race tracks. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the wheel sticking, and Carter did not place well at all:( I was very proud of him though, no fits, no tears, just a very big lesson in humility and sportsmanship.
