For a school project in May, Carter's class and 7 others worked with Story County Planning and Zoning to plan and build a "Box City". Using small cardboard boxes, including school milk cartons, the kids had to get permits, follow directions, and pass inspection of their new business. Carter and his partner Clay built a hardware store.
