January's weather has been pretty awful:( 3 days of cancelled school so far. We all feel like snuggling up and sleeping, like Frisbee on those days.
We decided to have a last minute New Year's Eve party at our house with these lovely ladies and their families. We played games with the kids, cards with the adults, and wished each other a happy new year at 11pm. It was a wonderful time.
How can my baby boy be 15?!! He wanted to invite a few good friends over for pizza, cookie cake and an Iowa Wolves basketball game. The boys were good, never heard a peep after 11:)

My friend Tanya does a good job of trying to get us out of the house for some winter hiking. This is her annual family hike at Robison Acres. Not too muddy or cold this year:) It felt good to get outside and breathe some fresh air.
The cats were very curious about the snow. We've gotten so much that one time they were up to their bellies and STILL wanted to walk around in it:)
