May 2015 Happenings

Lanie had another successful dance recital the last weekend in May.  She continues to dance for Audrey at CenterStage Dance.  She danced a ballet and a tap dance again this year.  Lots of hard work and time put in together to learn the dances but I was so proud watching her up there on stage feeling like a star:)

Had another awesome time on the Market to Market run Mother's Day weekend!  Third time was definitely a charm because we had the best weather we've had yet:)  I ran the furthest amount I have yet on this run, 10 miles and felt great.  It was fun having 8 runners this year, a little less stressful.

We had Mother's Day supper as a whole Dodd family at our house this year again.  The kids left this poster outside the front door for Grandma to see when she got here.

Lanie is sitting next to her milk carton house at a school project called Box City. She worked with a little buddy, one of my good friends' sons, to create the Pharmacy for the city.

Matthew got to join Carter and Kaelan on a field trip in May to the State Capital building and the Iowa Historical Museum.  The boys had a great time together.

 

Our baby girl bridged!  Lanie moved from being a Brownie to a Junior!  Our attire will turn green but we will stay with the same great troop and troop leader:)  Can't wait to see what we get to do this fall.
