One of Mommy's happiest memories of 10 year-old Carter - singing a solo at the Winter Music Concert. He sounded absolutely beautiful and was so proud of himself for weeks. I was just so happy to see him have that confidence and heart so full of joy.
One of Daddy's happiest memories of 10 year-old Carter -
One of Mommy's hardest moments of 10 year-old Carter - The way he can look at me with such dislike, tune me out, not want to talk to me.
One of Daddy's hardest moments of 10 year-old Carter - talking about he movie "Hangover" with him after he watched it without us knowing. It included over an hour of conversation and questions.
Hickory Park birthday celebration
Colyn and Kaleigh celebrated their 10th birthdays by going Glow Bowling and having a slumber party. We hear the kids stayed up mostly all night:)
First Iowa State University Beauty and the Beast gymnastics and wrestling meet. Love how the 3 of us can share one clone-cone:)
Lanie and I took Camlyn and his mom with us to one of the Civic Center Family Events. The kids love being together and both did a great job watching the show. They got to pet a lizard, listen to books while petting therapy dogs, make buttons, and dance to live music at the before show events.
We continue to be involved in Girl Scouts and really enjoy spending time with this sweet group of girls twice a month on Sundays. Here they are in their friendship circle at the end of a meeting.
Carter's Park and Rec Basketball Team
It's been great watching the boys develop their skills and friendships at their Saturday morning games.
Carter requested a red velvet Minecraft birthday cake made by Grandma Barb.
A lot of crazy boys spent the night at our house. They played nerf guns, trivia, hide and seek, truth or dare, screens, and finally settled down with the movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
This was truly how I found them sleeping on Sunday morning at 8am. See the boy in back sitting up with a pillow over his head:)!!
