Baseball summer

Both kids are playing baseball this summer which makes for some very busy Tuesdays and Thursdays, but we love it! Lanie is in what's called blastball. They hit off the T and run to first base that squeeks when they jump on it. Games last about 30 minutes, each child gets to bat and catch the ball:) The first time Lanie went to blastball, she decided first base was too easy and continued to run around the other team pretending there was a 2nd, 3rd, and home base.

Carter plays in coach-pitch baseball. Each child gets 3 chances to hit the thrown ball then hits off the T if they miss it. Carter has played outfield, catcher, and shortstop. I get to help line the boys up for batting and pump them up before they go out to bat:)
